Shirley is a Registered Counsellor specializing in trauma. She has been working in the Wellness industry since 2011. In the years that she has been in the industry she has managed and worked onsite for The Office of the Presidency, EPIROC, Royal Canin, PPS, University of Pretoria and currently Alive Art. She is currently managing her Private Practice (running since 2015), is a Psychological workshop facilitator at the University of Pretoria, a fatigue Management Specialist registered with BSS, is a consultant at Boitshoko Consulting and Moyreg. Sometimes you will hear her voice on radio stations such as 5FM, Radio 702 and Metro FM providing guidance and unpacking wellness topics.

Shirley attained her Honours degree in Bachelors of Psychology at Midrand Graduate institute (Now known as Eduvos). She completed her internship at: Teddy Bear Clinic, Leeuwkop Prison, Cresset House, Cluny Farm, Khula Clinic, Phelophepa Health Train, Community project in Thembisa, Midrand Police Station (Victim Empowerment Centre). She has completed and was awarded a certificate for completing the 16PF training.
